The device has 4 modes of operation:

• Multi-functional with 4 modes used as a TV Remote Control, Audio Pillow Speaker, QWERTY Keyboard and Computer Mouse.
• TV and keyboard toggle switch which easily transfers TV Mode to Keyboard Mode and vice versa with on-screen visual indicator that flashes during transitions.
• TV Mode or Keyboard Mode indicator displayed on-screen in the patient user interface header.
• Permanently installed in-patent room available 24/7, requires no power supply or human resource management.
• Sealed to prevent contamination entering the remote which could spread from one patient to another.
• IP54 Ingress Protection Rated as defined by the IEC standard 60529.
• Reduces the potential risk of infectious fluids or solids settling into the unit where they could be passed from patient to patient.
• Designed and tested for use in an oxygen enriched atmosphere.
