Hôpitel is one of the largest providers of healthcare television systems, patient television rental programs, as well as hospital entertainment and educational programming in Quebec and Canada. Hôpitel provides customized solutions for hospital computer management via its two-way interactive communications network. Its proprietary software combines computer control and broadband networking capabilities with a new generation of television sets to provide an "electronic window" through which patients or staff can access entertainment, educational and informational services, management and clinical informational systems as well as other enhanced communication features.
